Last week was pretty momentous. First, Greg came home at a normal hour every single day, and didn't have to go back to work after dinner! YES. It was so nice to spend the evenings together as a family. We hadn't spent that kind of time together in a really long time... like 8 or 9 weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that his schedule will stay this way, at least for a little while.
Saturday, my friend Gabby got married! Greg's mom watched Vada so Greg and I could go. I had the best time! After days and days of rain and thunderstorms, Gabby and Daniel were blessed with a perfectly warm, sunny day, without a cloud in the sky! Gabby was as beautiful as ever, and the ceremony was really lovely.

They got engaged on a hot air balloon ride, so after lighting the unity candle, they used it to set off a mini hot air balloon! It was so sweet and one of the neatest things I've ever seen at a wedding.

The reception was really fun. I got to goof around with a ton of friends, eat good food, and even have a drink! (Haven't done that in a while...) I seriously don't think anything could have made the evening better. Even the temperature was perfect! There was a beautiful sunset behind the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the first fireflies of the season :)

On our way home, Greg and I stopped at the grocery store to get a few things to make for breakfast in the morning, and I got s'mores supplies!

Perfect ending to a perfect week :)
