I finished my first-ever mug rug. I got obsessed with paper piecing when I started my Farmer's Wife blocks and just had to make this! This was the first pattern I ever tried to paper piece a long time ago, and I wasn't really happy with the results (poor color choices) but I like this little guy :) Second time's a charm?
I had a hard time deciding what to do with the quilting, so I just did some random straight lines here and there. I think it does the trick. AND I hand stitched the binding like a good girl :) Are you proud, Mom? Kaitlin? Natalie? ;)
