My friend Kaitlin came into town this weekend to meet Ursula and quilt a few of her quilts. This evening we finished up her absolutely BEAUTIFUL Amy Butler Love Hexagon quilt. We did a pretty, loose, feather pattern in a pale blue thread, and it is just perfect. She did a really nice pieced back, made of mostly flannel, so it's going to be super cozy for her lucky friend who gets to keep it!
Greg watched Vada tonight, which was so nice. I am almost never away from the house without Vada and it's so weird when she's not around! I feel so... free. But it also gives me the opportunity to TOTALLY miss her. I need more baby-free time. I think it will make me a better mama.
